Flexible services delivered with care and understanding

Disability Support That Fits Real Life

Our disability support services are flexible and responsive, recognising that needs can change over time. We work collaboratively with participants, families, and other professionals to ensure supports remain appropriate and clearly communicated. Each service is guided by trauma aware practice and a strong focus on informed choice.

Everyday assistance that supports independence

Support Work

Our support work services provide practical disability support with daily activities, routines, and community participation. We assist in ways that encourage confidence, autonomy, and comfort, while respecting individual preferences and boundaries.

Support may include assistance with daily tasks, attending appointments, community access, and building routines that feel manageable and supportive. Our approach is consistent, calm, and focused on creating a sense of safety and reliability.

Recovery focused guidance for long term wellbeing

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching

Psychosocial recovery coaching is designed to support individuals living with psychosocial disability. Our disability support in this area focuses on building skills, confidence, and self understanding through structured and supportive guidance.

We work alongside participants to identify goals, strengthen coping strategies, and navigate systems that may impact recovery. Coaching is delivered with empathy, professional insight, and respect for each person’s lived experience.

Clear guidance through the NDIS system

Support Coordination

Our support coordination service helps participants understand and implement their NDIS plans with confidence. This form of disability support includes identifying suitable providers, coordinating services, and supporting informed decision making.

We prioritise clear communication and transparency, ensuring you understand your options and feel supported throughout the process. Advocacy is a key part of this role, helping participants feel heard and respected.

Support through the application process

NDIS Access Requests

We provide guidance for individuals seeking to access the NDIS for the first time. Our disability support includes assistance with understanding eligibility, gathering evidence, and preparing applications.

We take a clear and supportive approach, helping reduce confusion and stress throughout the process. Where appropriate, we can also guide you towards additional supports or information.

Support built on trust and understanding

A Consistent and Respectful Approach

Across all services, Mara Community Care is guided by safety before progress, trauma aware practice, transparency, and advocacy. Our disability support is not rushed or transactional. We take the time to understand your situation and work alongside you with care and respect.
